Exam Results

Academic achievement is a key to future success for all our students, whatever their talents. We are proud of the consistently high standards of our examination results in both traditional GCSEs and in vocational subjects. Our results place us in the top quartile nationally when compared with similar schools. In 2010 we met very challenging targets which played a major part in pupil achievement being judged “outstanding” by Ofsted. We have maintained these high standards in 2011, with the school achieving its highest ever GCSE results.

In addition the overall progress from KS2 to KS4 for students of all abilities was also outstanding. This is shown in our Contextual Value Added (CVA) score of 1023, which was the third highest of all maintained schools in Hampshire.
