Testbourne is a well-established, rural community school, situated in the town of Whitchurch and serving the surrounding area. It is a mixed, comprehensive school for pupils aged 11-16 with approximately 780 pupils on roll. Our Pupil Admission Number is 162, and in most recent years we have been oversubscribed. We are a Foundation School and have specialist status in the Performing Arts. In November 2010 we were judged to be “an outstanding school” by Ofsted.
The main aim of our school is to produce happy, confident and successful members of society, who have regard for themselves and others in all that they do. We offer a diverse curriculum, with traditional and vocational pathways to success; year-onyear our students achieve excellent examination results, amongst the best in the county, and make progress far in excess of national averages.
