Two internally assessed components and one externally assessed component. The externally assessed core Component is:

  • Health and Wellbeing and is worth 40% of the final grade. This is an externally examined unit and the students will sit a series of three 1 hour exams in May in Year 11. The examination consists of a variety of question types including objective questions, short-answer questions and one extended writing opportunity.

Assignments relating to the following components will be set throughout the year and each component is worth 30% and will be assessed internally and moderated externally. It is vital that assignments are submitted by the clear deadlines.
