School Meals

A cafeteria system, operates at break and lunch-time, providing a full range of salads, sandwiches, snacks and hot meals. All food is freshly prepared on site and complies fully with the government’s Healthy Eating regulations. Pupils may also bring a packed lunch if they prefer.

Packed lunches can be eaten in the Theatre Hall or at the picnic benches outside. We are very pleased to be able to inform you that you need have no concerns about the meat content of school meals at Testbourne. All our meals which contain mince, e.g. Chilli Con Carne, Spaghetti Bolognese and Cottage Pie are home-made from fresh beef sourced from Hampshire butchers. We do not buy in processed products for such dishes.

Discreet arrangements are made for pupils in receipt of free school meals. The current value of a free school meal is £2:00. You can obtain a form from Pupil Services. If you think you may be eligible please do apply both because of the benefit to you and your family and also because the school receives a Pupil Premium for every child in receipt of free school meals, to help provide support for them.

Barton Stacey / Longparish bus service We are aware of the current issues related to the Barton Stacey/Longparish bus service. The service was late again today (Wednesday 18th January) and picked children up at 8:40am. Testbourne apologises for the inconvenience caused and we are in communication with Hampshire Transport to resolve the issue.
