Arts Evening

Arts Evening took place on Tuesday 17th July in the Theatre Hall and featured a stunning display of GCSE Art and Photography work, both physically and on screen accompanied by live performances from dancers, actors and musicians.

We had over 100 visitors walk through the Theatre Hall doors between 7 – 8.30pm and raised £300 for the Art Department which will be invested into buying new resources for GCSE Art students. Last year this event enabled us to buy some graphic tablets to extend the work of our animators. Live performances included boys' dance group 'First Impulse', an excerpt of a hard-hitting play entitled 'Dan Nolan' which is about a boy who goes missing from Hamble, and a collaboration of original dance and music based on the relationship between two people where they have support and dependency upon one another. Refreshments were served on the patio with live music by Bella Voce choir and GCSE musicians.
