This senior middle leadership post has arisen as part of our strategic plan to develop the impact of STEM teaching across the school. We understand that the skills and knowledge that STEM subjects enhance, could prove extremely valuable to students in the future. This is an exciting new opportunity for an outstanding teacher of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics to lead our provision. You will be passionate about the development of STEM subjects and engaging our students to ensure that they gain the skills to enter the workforce in the future. We wish someone to take the lead, through the development of STEM subjects and STEM careers links, to enhance students’ creativity, problem solving skills and resilience. These skills are highly valued by employers in all industries. Through outstanding teaching and leadership, this role could have tremendous positive impact on a significant number of our students, many of whom are very able.

This post is suitable for candidates with previous experience of working with young people, or those who wish to gain more experience before considering a career in teaching or other work with children.
