We are very pleased and excited to announce our Virtual Sports Week which is taking place from Monday 13th July – Friday 17th July! As you may be aware, we would normally be preparing to host our annual sports day, however, due to the current circumstances this cannot go ahead. Instead, we have decided to hold a Virtual Sports Week which is open to all students to earn recognition points for their House and become the first ever champions of our Virtual Sports Week.

There are 8 different challenges that you can do to claim points for your House. You can see these below. Watch the video for a demonstration first then give it your best shot. Just make sure to submit your challenge by following the link under each challenge video – each entry will gain 10 points for your house!

Challenge 1: The Plank Challenge

Hold a plank position for as long as you can! Time yourself and tell us how long you managed to hold this position for. The house with the longest duration of time in total will win.

Challenge 2: The Push Up Challenge

How many push ups can you do in 30 seconds? The house with the most amount of push ups in total will win.

How many squat jumps can you do in 30 seconds? The house with the highest number of squat jumps in total will win.

Challenge 4: The Running Challenge

How far can you run? Tell me your result in kilometres. The house with the furthest distance in total kilometres will win.

How many times can you keep the ball up and off the floor (without using your hands)? The house with the highest number of keepie uppies in total will win.

How many times can you throw a ball against a wall and catch it again within 30 seconds? The house with the most catches in total will win.

Challenge 8: The Burpees Challenge

How many burpees can you do in 30 seconds? The house with the highest number of burpees in total will win.

Submit an entry to one of the challenges and add 10 points to your house total! That means if you completed all the challenges you would give your House 80 points just by taking part!

  • The winning House in a challenge will receive 100 points towards the overall House leader board.
  • 2nd place within a challenge will receive 75 point towards the overall House leader board.
  • 3rd place within a challenge will receive 50 points towards the overall House leader board.
  • 4th place within a challenge will receive 25 points towards the overall House leader board.
